Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting

Summer in Wyoming doesn’t last very long, time is brief and that is emphasized when new life joins the prairies in June. This doe and her fawn “lived” near me last summer and I finally was able to catch this moment. Ever diligent, momma is watching out while her young one nurses. To have this happen next to the road and to be able to capture it was truly one of the moments when you become truly thankful to witness nature at its finest.Image

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I am a mixed bag all jumbled up with glitter writing a book, playing on ham radio (I'm WY7YL), being a Parrothead, making jewelry, running, reading, or running around with my camera taking pics of nature and my cats. This blog is a smattering of all of it!

  1. Katie at our home in Accokeek, MD we witness this every June. It is incredible and I love to see them run, then tend to do a lot of bouncing or jumping. Love this time of year.
