Black and White Weekly Photo Challenge: Upward

Black and White Weekly Photo Challenge: Upward

Devils Tower National Monument is America’s first national monument located here in northeast Wyoming. It’s a place that when you see in person, you realize that every photo you have ever seen it in (or in Closer Encounters of the Third Kind) do it NO justice to it’s size and awesomeness. When you stand at the base and look up, it’s hard to believe that people climb to the top nearly every day in the summer.

This view is looking up at the tower from the KOA at the base of the park.

This post is in response to this great blogger who puts these ideas forth. Please visit her blog and this week’s challenge at: http://sonelcorner.wordpress.com/2013/07/30/black-and-white-weekly-photo-challenge-upward/

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I am a mixed bag all jumbled up with glitter writing a book, playing on ham radio (I'm WY7YL), being a Parrothead, making jewelry, running, reading, or running around with my camera taking pics of nature and my cats. This blog is a smattering of all of it!
