The life of the Indoor & Outdoor Kitties

Indoor vs Outdoor Kitties

It looks cold out today, but it’s quite nice for a Wyoming winter today. Lefty is perfectly happy outside and is quite happy to pose for the camera. smokie nap

Smokie lives on the ottoman and goes out begrudgingly…has her picture taken begrudgingly as well, unless she is cute and asleep like this!! Until she wakes up looking like she just spent a night in the bar…IMG_6259

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I am a mixed bag all jumbled up with glitter writing a book, playing on ham radio (I'm WY7YL), being a Parrothead, making jewelry, running, reading, or running around with my camera taking pics of nature and my cats. This blog is a smattering of all of it!

  1. How did you decide who stays in and who stays out? All of mine were found outdoors but live fully indoors (we have coyotes, etc).

    1. All the “new” cats were born outside and stay there. The three that go in and out had health issues as kittens so they get the queen treatment! The three old ladies who are in full time always have been. Its hard, we’d love to have them all inside, but that would be too much in our little house!

    1. Oh yes Debbie. They generally just stay in the garage when it’s really cold like that. There are two heat lamps in there – one is over an old recliner, the other over two huge boxes with rugs and blankets in them. They are sheltered and quite warm!
