Weekly Photo Challenges: Letters

When I saw this week’s challenge, I knew immediately which photo I wanted to share. When on vacation in Scotland and England last summer, we had the opportunity to visit Rosslyn Chapel (for fans of “The Da Vinci Code” this is a place that needs to be on your bucket list!).

Before entering the chapel (founded in 1446) beauty abounds among the sculptures and carvings. There is something very humbling about being in a place that old. Already a lover of all things Angel, when I saw this sculpture with the word “Hope” I knew this message had been seen by countless people for centuries…it takes your breath away.

Four little letters that convey so much….

I hope you enjoy my entry this week. For the original posting as well as tons of other wonderful entries, please visit:

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I am a mixed bag all jumbled up with glitter writing a book, playing on ham radio (I'm WY7YL), being a Parrothead, making jewelry, running, reading, or running around with my camera taking pics of nature and my cats. This blog is a smattering of all of it!
